Dr. Libna Palma was born and raised in Oceanside, CA. She received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from California State Polytechnic University of Pomona and her Doctorate of Optometry from the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA in 2021. She completed her ocular disease residency at the Manchester VA Medical Center in Manchester, New Hampshire in 2022 and has worked in community health clinics, VA hospitals, private practices, and corporate optometry. Dr. Palma has committed herself to advancing her knowledge and the optometric profession, and in 2023 earned her Fellowship from the American Academy of Optometry.
In her free time, Dr. Palma loves the outdoors – hiking and exploring new places with her golden retriever. She loves to travel and would love to visit every single country in the world. She enjoys cooking and learning new recipes.
